To Boost or Not to Boost? That Is the Question. | Tameka Allen

I just returned from being off for 7 straight days, and I can’t even begin to tell you how refreshed I feel. I was well overdue for some time off. That’s one thing about working for yourself—you have to make yourself stop and take a break.

Do me a favor? Don’t wait too long for your next vacation—even if it’s a staycation!

My family and I took a trip to my hubby’s hometown of Houston, Texas. Let me tell you, I thought I knew what hot and humid weather felt like. However, the Lone Star State proved me to be dead wrong. Aside from the heat, we had a great trip and had a blast with family and friends. My husband, Clarence, had the honor of being named the Godfather of his best friend’s daughter.

Here’s her birthday cake. It was beautiful and tasty!
